POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Participate in project management activities.
  • Prepare and handle BID proposals.
  • Train team members and support their development.
  • Follow and execute activities according to the Manager’s direction.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in relevant fields such as Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • Experience: 3–5+ years of experience in IT project management or related fields.
  • Language: Japanese level N3 or above; able to communicate verbally and present project reports in Japanese.
  • PM Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) is a plus (not mandatory).
  • Other Agile-related certifications are an advantage if Agile methodologies are applied.
  • Skills
    • Project Management: Understanding of project management methodologies such as Waterfall, Agile, Scrum, etc.
    • Technical Knowledge: Knowledge of IT systems and the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
    • Leadership & Team Management: Strong leadership skills to manage cross-functional teams, including BA, Developers, and Testers.
    • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to work effectively with Managers, clients, and team members.
    • Problem Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to handle project challenges and risks.
    • Budget Management: Experience in managing project budgets, finances, and resource allocation.
    • Time Management: Ability to plan, prioritize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet project deadlines.
    • Stakeholder Management: Skills in managing stakeholder expectations and maintaining strong relationships.
    • Risk Management: Proficient in identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks.
    • Change Management: Ability to manage changes in scope, timeline, and resources.
  • Nice to Have
    • Basic technical background in C#, Java, SQL is an advantage.
    • Proficient in project management tools such as JIRA, Redmine, Senju, Notion.
    • Able to work under pressure and willing to work overtime to support clients during critical project phases.
    • Adaptability: Flexible and able to adapt to changing project and customer requirements.
    • Conflict Resolution: Ability to effectively handle conflicts within the team and with stakeholders.
    • Continuous Improvement: Commitment to continuous learning and improvement in project management practices.
    • Confident negotiation skills in Japanese.
