POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Lead and manage multiple IT projects from planning and requirement definition through delivery and operation.
  • Directly manage software development teams of 10+ members and projects with 30+ team members.
  • Manage project scope, schedule, resources, budget, risks, issues, and overall project performance.
  • Monitor project progress, identify risks/issues proactively, and provide timely reports to management, clients, and stakeholders.
  • Lead cross-functional teams including BA, Developers, Testers/QA, and other technical members.
  • Manage client and stakeholder expectations, requirements, changes, and project communications.
  • Apply appropriate Waterfall, Agile/Scrum, or hybrid project management methodologies.
  • Identify opportunities, propose solutions, and drive continuous process improvements.
  • Work effectively with Japanese clients, understanding their communication styles, business practices, and expectations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • 5–10 years of experience in IT Project Management or a related field.
  • Proven experience managing multiple IT projects and leading large-scale teams.
  • At least 10+ members directly managed in software development teams; experience with 30+ member projects is preferred.
  • Hands-on technical background in at least one role such as BA, Software Developer, Tester/QA Engineer, or similar.
  • Strong knowledge of SDLC, software development, cloud computing, cybersecurity, and IT systems.
  • Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project management practices.
  • Strong skills in risk, schedule, resource, budget, change, and stakeholder management.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, analytical, problem-solving, and time-management skills.
  • Good command of English, both verbal and written.
  • Experience working with Japanese or Singaporean clients/markets is a strong advantage.
  • Experience in Insurance, Financial Services, Rescue/Assistance Services, or BPO is preferred.

Certifications – Preferred

  • PMP certification.
  • CSM or other Agile/Scrum certifications.
  • ITIL certification or practical knowledge of ITIL.
