We are seeking a Principal Full Stack Engineer who will be a key individual contributor responsible for architecting, building, and scaling our next generation of AI-powered capabilities.

As one of our most senior individual contributors, you will partner closely with Product, Design, and Engineering Leads to define technical direction, architect robust AI first solutions, and deliver reliable, maintainable software. You will also help integrate AI thoughtfully and pragmatically into Sleek products and internal processes.

About the Role:

• Lead end-to-end design & development of scalable, secure full-stack systems with AI-first mindset.
• Architect and deliver high-impact product & platform features, owning complex technical domains.
• Define and improve system architecture, performance, reliability, and scalability roadmap (6–12 months).
• Establish and uphold engineering best practices: testing, CI/CD, code quality, observability, security.
• Drive practical adoption of AI (LLMs, automation, workflow optimization) into products and internal systems.
• Mentor senior/mid engineers and provide technical leadership across teams.
• Collaborate closely with Product, Design, and QA to ensure clear requirements and predictable delivery.

• 8+ years of full-stack engineering experience, delivering complex systems at scale.
• Strong JavaScript/TypeScript; experience with modern backend (NodeJS/NestJS) & frontend (React/Vue).
• Solid experience with relational (Postgres/MySQL) & NoSQL (MongoDB) databases, ORMs.
• Proven experience building production-grade SaaS / B2B / FinTech systems.
• Hands-on experience integrating AI-powered features (LLMs, automation, document processing, etc.).
• Good knowledge of cloud (AWS preferred), DevOps, CI/CD, and system observability.
• Strong communication skills and passion for mentoring and raising engineering standards.
• Nice to have: FinTech / accounting / bookkeeping domain experience.
