POSITION OVERVIEW

  • Lead and Develop the Onsite Development Team: Responsible for building, developing, and maintaining the Onsite Delivery team, to meet customer needs and drive company growth. 
  • Presales: Lead Technical Presales for key deals, including client meetings, workshops, solution scoping, and proposal presentations.
  • Delivery Coordination & Issue Resolution: Coordinate project delivery, track progress, and resolve issues to ensure timely, high-quality outcomes and client satisfaction.
  • Client Representation: Act as the primary point of contact for clients, articulating their needs and expectations, advocating for their interests, and ensuring clear communication between the client and internal teams to drive successful project outcomes.
  • Account Farming & Growth Collaboration: Drive expansion within existing accounts by identifying opportunities, building strong client relationships, collaborating with sales, pre-sales, and delivery teams, and developing tailored strategies to maximize account growth and long-term client satisfaction.
  • Budget and Financial Management: Responsible for managing the Japan Delivery budget & Margin control, ensuring efficient resource utilization and achieving financial goals.
  • Ensure Compliance with Processes and Regulations: Ensure the team adheres to internal processes, regulations, and industry standards (such as ISO, CMMI) to maintain quality and operational efficiency

JOB REQUIREMENTS

  • At least 8 years of experience in project management/software development, with preference given to candidates who have experience in IT outsourcing companies.
  • Experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with Japanese clients.
  • Knowledgeable in project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
  • Excellent time management, team leadership, and problem-solving skills.
  • A technical background is an advantage
  • Fluent in Japanese (equivalent to JLPT N1 level) and good command of English communication
