POSITION OVERVIEW
- Manage large accounts or multiple projects
- Manage and train teams under the projects supervised by the Delivery Manager (DM)
- Establish processes, guidelines, and KPIs for projects/accounts
- Ensure end-to-end delivery for projects and project streams under the DM’s responsibility: on time, on quality, and on budget
- Manage P&L at the project level, account level, and across all assigned projects
- Manage stakeholders; handle conflicts, issues, and risks that may impact project delivery
- Build and maintain client relationships to ensure satisfaction and identify opportunities for project expansion
- Actively participate in bidding processes: farming and hunting (strategy, planning, proposal development, proposal defense, etc.)
JOB REQUIREMENTS
- At least 8 years of experience in project management/software development, preferably in IT outsourcing companies.
- Proven experience in managing and coordinating multiple projects simultaneously.
- Minimum 3 years of experience working on Japanese projects.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to work effectively with international clients.
- Good understanding of project management methodologies (Agile, Scrum, or Waterfall) and tools such as Jira, Trello, or Microsoft Project.
- Strong time management and team leadership skills.
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
- Technical background is a plus.
- Ability to review various types of documents, including DB, DD, and BID documents.
- Ability to present documents in Japanese.
- Ability to work well under pressure.
- Fluent in Japanese, both spoken and written.
- Good English communication skills.
Nice to Have:
- Willingness to travel for short-term onsite assignments.
- Willingness to work on projects when required.
