VMO Holdings was honored to welcome representatives from the Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) for a discussion on technology applications in agriculture (Agritech) to support developing countries. FAO, renowned for its leadership in global agriculture and efforts to combat poverty, is constructing a Geodata database in Asia to utilize state-of-the-art technology to enhance land management and farming methods in the area. FAO's Environment Statistics and Land &amp; Water Data experts visited VMO’s office to meet our tech team and explore concrete collaboration plans that could foster partnerships and help address agricultural and geographical challenges. These discussions paved the way for significant collaborations to address important environmental and farming issues. This meeting was an important step forward, opening new doors for VMO to work with international partners on sustainable (ESG) tech solutions that support better practices in agriculture, forestry, fisheries, and land and water management around the world.
