• Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks and test scripts from scratch for both UI and API testing using TypeScript and Playwright with Jasmine.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, developers, and QA engineers to understand requirements, define test scenarios, and ensure comprehensive test coverage.
• Implement and execute automation tests for complex payment processing workflows and financial systems ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance.
•  Analyze test results, report defects, and work with development teams to troubleshoot and resolve issues efficiently.
• Maintain and optimize the automation test suite to improve reliability, maintainability, and scalability. Integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to support continuous testing and rapid release cycles. Utilize Cosmos DB knowledge to design test data strategies and validate backend data consistency and integrity.
• Mentor junior testers and provide technical guidance on automation best practices and framework development.
•  Stay current with emerging trends and tools in automation testing and the financial technology domain.
• Required Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
• Minimum 5 years of experience in automation testing, preferably in finance or payment systems.
• Strong expertise in TypeScript programming language. Hands-on experience with Playwright automation framework and Jasmine test runner.
•  Proven experience designing and building automation test frameworks from scratch. Solid understanding and practical experience in API testing and UI automation.
• Working knowledge of Cosmos DB and experience in validating NoSQL database-driven applications. Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Azure DevOps, or GitHub Actions for test automation integration.
• Deep understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies. Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
•  Ability to work independently and lead automation efforts within cross-functional teams.
